hiya,
just got off the three day tour of southern bolivia literally, no signal, no internet, couldnt update it, we did the worlds largest salt flats which were amazing, got some cool pics to show, and then went to fish island where there were giant cactus,
then stayed a night in the salt hotel, which 2 and a half hours south of the flats, After this we got up at about 7 am and went to Laguna Colorada, which is a red lake, which was fantastic, with flamingos on and much wildlife, we then saw green and blue lakes, and multicoloured mountains, and after we drove through the desert to a very basic stop off point where we stayed the night,
GOT UP AT 4.30!!!!
horrible, drove an hour to the geysers, vocanic spurts of steam, incredible, volcanic activity is really amazing, from here we had a 20 minute drive to some natural hot springs where we baved in a rock pool with waters of 38degrees looking over a steamy lake at sunrise, it was minus 5 degrees ! COLD!!!!
just got back on to La Paz!!!

we are at 3000metres in Sucre and im feeling rotten(Ned) not sure if its altitude sickness or not, i hope not!! jack and steve are in bed having a siesta!!!
accomodation is 3dollars a night, food is 3dollars a day, and we are finally saving haha.,

IGUAZU FALLS AMAZING

hiya,
went to iguazu falls yesterday, cost a fortune, but it was bloody brilliant, well worth, everyone is telling us how cheap bolivia is, so hopefully we will save there!!! dont worry parents only slightly over budget because of yesterday, but its slashing it down here, south american style !!!!! iguazu was beautiful, its like the end of the earth comng to one, and just a huge hole, where all the water falls into, and creates a mass of spray. The wildlife was really nce too, little monkeys, snakes and pretty little butterflys, nothing major. We are really lookng forward to bolivia, but we arer gonna lie low for a few days and save money. Jacks in bed right now, sleeping, he has a huge talent for it, also im not as red as the facebook status´s say, im just not tanning, unlike steve, Hes half way to being Black,
we had a huge blackout yesterday which was frustrating, suddenly theres nothng anyone can do, internet goes down and the place stops completely.
this is the only picture we have been able to upload, we have a about 400 photos on our camera of iguazu, but the hostel wont let us use the usb ports to upload pics.
i uploaded it from my blackberry
30 hour bus journey from paraguay to santa cruz is going to interestng, changing scenery, and then we will go on south boliva to uyuni, salt flats
!!
Hope everyones good back home.

Update
We are currently in Iguazu, after arriving from a 12 and a half hour coach journey which was suprisingly comfortable! We are staying in a hostel called hostal inn, its right next to the town centre and we are planning on doing the iguazi falls tomorrow and then hope to do mountain biking, zip wiring, quad biking, white water rafting all in the next 4 days if we can afford it! After staying here for 4 nights we are then planning on gettin a 30 hour plus coach journey all the way to santa cruz, in the midle of Bolivia, which will be great but not exactly looking forward to coach! the weather out here is unbelievably hot, over 35 degrees in the mddle of the day, were all loving it, ned lamb is happy, burns like a tomato, but steve on the other hand just goes brown straight away the lucky bastarrd! The pictures on the profile so far are mainly from Buenos aires, one of them is me and Ned outside the restaurant called ´follow the cow´where you can buy all you can eat steak, pork, chicken and all meats plus a bottle of wine and a dessert for under 20 quid! so that was nice! and the rest are from some of the areas we visited in BA. We are planning on putting up more pictures as soon as we can find a place to put them up! but so far everything is gret, we are probably a bit over budget but nothing dramatic. will keep you all updated again soon!
